 Photo: www.petite-cupcakes.com We had a blast meeting with all of the lovely brides at the Who's Who In "I Do" Bridal Show this past Sunday. For those of you who weren't able to make it out to the show, below are some photos of our unique reception styled booth. The theme was a Spring Fling with an ivory, chocolate, and blushing pink color scheme. Satin fabrics and color coordinated chargers and plates were pulled together to create the backdrop. A lovely decorated birdcage and mini birdcage placecard holders were used to complete the Spring Fling look. This setup works wonderful for brides who are looking to try something different from the traditional look of floral centerpieces. A special thanks to Petite Cupcakes & Events for providing the matching pastel cupcake tower. Pink butterflies were attached sporadically to the outside of the cage while a lovely birdie hung over an assortment of potpourri inside the birdcage. I love the idea of including a beautiful montage of color in wedding cake slices. It is relatively easy to pull off too. If you want multiple shades of one color, simply mix increasing amounts of colored gel in the batter for each layer of cake to create a lovely color palette that will definitely leave your guests pleasantly surprised!
