The Duchess of Cambridge was not the only celebrity bride that everyone was talking about last year. The wedding of Bella Swan, the star of the fictional Twilight series, also caused widespread interest in 2011. Bella’s bridal gown designed by Carolina Herrera definitely took everyone’s breath away. The dress donned a combination of crepe satin and French Chantilly lace with a sheer oval-shaped back. The 152 buttons lining the back of the dress along with the 17 additional buttons on each sleeve completed the romantic look of Bella’s bridal gown. In a recent interview with Town & Country weddings, Carolina Herrera described actress Kristen Stewart’s first reaction to the bridal gown. Herrera stated, “We did three fittings. When she initially put on the dress and looked over her shoulder into the mirror, she was very moved…In that moment she was not an actress or a character in a film but instead a bride, and a happy one at that.” While Herrera’s design is reportedly worth $35,000, you can achieve the same look at a more affordable price with the Bella Swan replica dress created by Alfred Angelo. Check out the photos of this lovely replica below: Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Smith! 09/05/2011

I am seeing a lot more brides opting to have a little bit of bling incorporated into their floral arrangements. These beautiful pieces created by Fabulous Flowers are a perfect example! The mixture of moss, blossoming flora, tea lights, and candle lit globes hanging off sporadic branches result in absolutely beautiful centerpieces. Fabulous Flowers decided to take the look a step further by adding silver supports and crystal drops, which gave the presence of an enchanted garden. Amazing how adding in touches of bling can completely transform a floral arrangement! Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Clark! 03/13/2011
Thanks to Megan and Brett Clark for sharing with us the pictures from their recent New Orleans wedding. We wish you all the best in married life Mr. and Mrs. Clark! Daniela & Mario's Candy Buffet 09/27/2010
Daniela and Mario's wedding colors were a combintation of ivory, champagne, gold, and several shades of purple. We used this color palette to develop a beautiful candy buffet that had guests coming back for more all evening! The selection included dark Hershey's kisses, grape fruit slices, decorative wrapped Hershey bars, grape candy sticks, grapefruit slices, grape/pineapple gummy bears, Sucre's infamous pecan macaroons, Ferrero Rocher chocolates, grape rock candy, and grape sour balls (the guests' top pick!). The couple also chose to have gold organza bags with ivory tags displaying their names and wedding date. Check out the snapshots below to see just how perfectly everything tied in together! Geaux Photo Rocks This Real Wedding 09/15/2010
We teamed up with Geaux Photo for a recent wedding and just had to share with you the amazing results from that night! The guests could not get enough of the fun theatrical props that Geaux Photo provided. The bride and groom had a photo guestbook set up where guests were able to receive two copies of each 2x2 composite photo taken. One composite was left for the newlywed's guestbook and the other copy was for the guests to take home as a fun memory of that special night. We definitely recommend Geaux Photo for your photo booth needs. They have a number of packages at different price points for you to choose from. For an additional small fee, Geaux Photo provides extras like props and guestbook services that will really rock your wedding! We put together this customized favor bag for a bride whose guests were all from out of town. This favor has a unique flair to it that we felt would give the guests a true taste of New Orleans. We pre-packaged Cafe Du Monde beignet mix and included instructions on how to properly prepare this New Orleans delicacy. We also threw in mini bags of CC's coffee and traditional pralines for the guests to enjoy while they reminisce on their time here in New Orleans. We later heard from the bride that these favor bags were a huge hit...the guests really enjoyed being able to take a part of the city back home with them. | Inspiration BlogBookmark us to your favorites to keep posted on updates of the latest inspirational trends and events!
