The photojournalistic approach not only eliminates the bridal party from missing the first hour of the reception posing for photos, but it allows the photographer to catch the guests at their best - enjoying themselves at the wedding.  In recent years, brides have opted to choose a color and then let their bridesmaids choose a dress style that works best for their bodies in that color. The 2010 trend takes this concept a step further by adding in even more flexibility. Brides are now letting the bridesmaids choose a dress that falls within a general color scheme. This new trend adds a creative sense of flair to the bridal party while allowing the bridesmaids to have fun shopping for a dress that they will be able to wear again.  The photo booth trend is in full swing this year. The only difference from last year is that it is becoming more personalized. If renting one is just not in the budget, make your own! Be creative when designing your backdrop by using patterned fabrics, curtains hung on standalone bars, or even cover a large piece of wood with wallpaper. Throw in unique props like boas, glasses, and frames for added fun. Set out digital cameras or attach a camera to your laptop and allow guests to use a remote to snap shots of themselves in the photo booth.  While dessert tables and candy buffets have been in style for the past few years, wedding cakes have certainly made a comeback. This year's trend is the classic white wedding cake. Round cakes with buttercream frosting or smooth fondant are the cake of choice. Add dramatic height to the cake with taller layers or even choose to add in some fake layers!
